The China Shop is a smart romantic comedy about the surprising moments of life that are, as Virginia Woolf once said, “…little daily miracles…matches struck unexpectedly in the dark”.

In The China Shop, the matches are Derby, a sort of once famous poet, and Mary, an award-winning advertising writer. By chance, they become neighbors and the volley of words – and matches – light up!
