Early Rock & Roll Sibling Groups

Examine the careers of brother or sister acts spanning the first decade of Rock & Roll. So many of the outstanding songs of this era were made popular by groups such as the Everly Brothers, the Ronettes, the Paris Sisters, the Angels, Randy and the Rainbows, the Teen Queens and the Kalin Twins. This retrospective will afford us an opportunity to relive a number of their most memorable vocals and examine the influence they had on future Rock stars. This event is open to members and non members. Registration is required. The lecture will be held in the Goldstein Community Engagement Venue at the Staenberg Omaha JCC.

Richard previously has lectured at various JCC’s, libraries, and most recently on the 2024 Malt Shop Cruise. Richard’s presentations give insight into some of the biggest moments in the American Pop Music Tradition.
